I want to wire up momentary button that when pressed will kill 12v power to the ignition coil and stay off until the key switch is turned off, thus resetting the curcuit. I'm new to the world oof relays and latches and all that so please any help is good. I've been trying to figure this out for days.

Cool, that's exactly what I drew up this morning.

Now I know if I wanted to had in that a secong press of the button reset it also then things would get more complicated requiring more relays.

If you're feeling adventurous take a look at Latched On/Off Output Using a Single Momentary Pulse on this site at https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp
