I want my headlights to automatically raise when headlights are turned on and lower when turned off.

When i test this circuit with a test light it works fine but when hooked up to the headlight actuator it blows the fuse.

I don't see what is wrong.

Is there a simpler way of doing this with fewer relays?

Thanks for your help

Thank you for this info. It took me awhile to see how it works but i think i got it.

What function do the diodes have in this circuit?

They keep the low beams from turning the high beams on.  And vice-versa.

Thanks so much for your help.

It's rare when someone gives "free" advice.

I really apreciate it.
