i have a scytech alarm, remote start(5000rs for manual trans.) and remote start wont start..  will try and crank but no start...  i read in the manual that i need a clutch bypass relay.  i have the correct wire going to slutch wire but i am guessing that it needs to go through a relay to get the proper ground.  could someone help me in wiring this relay?  any help is appretiated.

If it's trying to crank, then you have the clutch bypass right. WHat make, model and vehicle is this ? SOunds like you have an immobilizer problem to me.

are you advanced mecp? well the 91 doesnt have an immobilizer, so its either your connections, or a defective unit. THe clutch is a negative trigger.

look for a black OR green wire @ clutch

another method is to test which wire is constant at ground and switches to ground when the clutch is pressed to the floor.

a 1991 Civic DX, is that even fuel injected?  Does the car start with the key without having to touch the gas pedal? I have a bunch of civic service manuals, but don't have 1991.  1990 is carbureted and 1992 is fuel injected., Thats what makes me wonder.

it is fuel injected, and all my connections are solid and in the correct places.   yes i am advanced certified.  attended mobile dynamics and have ben installing for about 4 years.  just have never got into the rs part of it.    and still dont.  clutch wire is tagged, it just wont start. it will crank but no start.
