Greetings, first time poster, so please bear with me.

I have removed the thermo switch from my electric engine fan and are just converting it to a manual switch, would the diagram at the bottom of this thread work.  The fan pulls about 20 amps

Can I use the relay that came with the thermo switch?  here are some pics of the two I have. In all the pics, the one on the right is the one that came with the fan controller, the left is the replacement.
