Has anyone actually got this to work??I have tried this with no luck. Checked and double checked installation and all is ok....

I will attempt to find out what exactly is going on and report back. I just wondered if anyone has noticed an obvious mistake that I need to know about?!

What's not working with it?

Is it not latching the way you expected?

I have never used this particular diagram, but looking at it I see no problems at all. I have never seen a diagram posted by our Administrator that did not work.

As asked above, what kind of problems are you having with it?

Ok, there was a constant 12v output from the 'switched' output. The negative thrown from the switch (or wires if you are testing) did not throw any of the relay contacts (no noise / click). The fused 12v input was fine. The common earth was fine....

I have checked, double checked, and triple checked the configuration, and everything was ok... including the diodes (4-relay configuration)so i just don't understand it?!

Has anyone else produced a working example?

Thanks

Are you sure you're only using SPDT relays? Take a picture of what you have wired and post it here so we can have a look-see.

Ahh, I knew someone would ask that! I took it all apart last night as i was running short of relays and it wasn't working... here are the ones I used..SPDT 12v Relay - Maplin code: N00AW

Diodes were Schottky Rectifier 1N5818 Diodes, Maplin code JA47B.

If the coil of the first relay did not energize (click) when you applied ground to terminal 30 of the third relay, you definitely have something wrong. Without seeing exactly what you wired, there is no way of knowing what the problem on your end is.

Ok, I will try to re-create said example this evening and post a photo.
