That is a double pole double throw relay. This one is a 12 volt DPDT relay.

What I'm trying to do is send a single pulse from a rpm activate switch to make a Porsche rear spoiler go up and down  with a pulse from the switch.

https://www.msdignition.com/product.aspx?id=6973&terms=8956

The motor for the spoiler is just a dc motor the reverses with a change in polarity. Also I was hoping that I could make this load sensitive, meaning that when the spoiler was all the way up,it would see the "extra" load on the motor and kill the volatge to the motor, then it would wait for the polarity to change to lower the spoiler.

Is the anyway for me to use this  for what I want to do?

Thanks

Tim

Are there no limit switches in the spoiler assy?

you could add a self resetting cuircuit breaker and a latching relay to the circiut...feed the latching relay after the breaker. when the load becomes heavy the breaker will reset and open the latching relay.

Would a timer be sufficient in the raising and lowering of the spoiler?

Push one button and the motor or Actuator goes one way Push the other and it reverses direction, Uses 2 standard Cube relays,

And the switches above are momentary pushbutton switches of the normally closed configuration.

The circuit should work equally well with 2 normally open pushbuttons, and will save the relays from being constantly pulled in.

The circuit will work the same whether you use NO or NC control switches. The only difference is that with NC switches, the 2 relays will be pulled in all the time, and the actuator leads will rest at 12V rather than ground when idle. Good engineering design would dictate the use of NO switches to prolong the life of the relays, and keep the actuator unpowered unless running.

Better quality linear actuators will incorporate a pair of NC limit switches to set the limits of travel. If you have these, put the limit switch contacts in series with the NO control pushbuttons (one limit in series with each button). This way, when the motor hits the end of stroke in one direction, it automatically drops out the relay powering the motor in that direction. The motor will then stop until the opposite button is pressed.
