Ok, im sorry but I have looked around and searched for a push button start for my 06 Altima and could not find my answer. As most of us know, all the new altimas come with the intellegent start key or whatever it is called. Keyless ignition kits cost way too much so I just want to add a push button where I have to put the key in, put it on ACC and than push the button.
I know it is kind of pointless but it looks cool.... LoL
I have seen a bunch of wiring diagrams for S2000 and other
cars but I was just wondering if anyone has done these an altima? If so, can you post a wiring diagram or something?
unlike hondas, new nissans have a starter 1 AND starter 2. so i was told two relays would be required. Can someone tell me what kinda relays are required and can you draw a wiring diagram? thanks

I will draw you a diagram later today.
I got a second question. I have a nustart NUAS-8000 alarm/starter combo and it has passive arm/disarm. I was just wondering.... is it possible to use that to tap into a push start button? and my remote will be my "intellegent key"?
You will have to defeat the steering lock. I forgot to draw you the diagram today. It will take 3 relays to do the push button thing. Yes you can attach the remote start to the push button device.
just wondering if this would work...
On the push button;
Pin 1 & 4 = Ignition wire
Pin 2 = Ground
Pin 3 = Connect to pin 86 on the 30 amp relay
On relay#1;
Pin 86 = Pin 3 on the switch
Pin 85 = Pin 86 relay #2
Pin 87a = No Connection
Pin 87 = Ignition 1 or 2
Pin 30 = Starter wire 1
On relay#2;
Pin 86 = Pin 85 relay#1
Pin 85 = Ground
Pin 87a = No Connection
Pin 87 = Ignition 1 or 2
Pin 30 = Starter wire 2
I have no idea what kind of a switch you are using. Here is how you need to connect the relays.
These are the 2 relays required to start the car. The third relay is going to be used to kill Air Conditioner, radio, and power windows while the car is trying to start.
85 of both relays need to be grounded. 86 of both relays need to go to the output of your switch. The other leg of your switch needs to be supplied with 12 volts via Ignition source along with pin 30 of both relays Put a 5 amp fuse wherever you get power. 87 on relay 1 goes to Starter 1 wire as listed above. 87 on relay 2 goes to starter 2 wire.
When you get that working and want to tackle turning the A/C off while starting let me know.
just wanted to confirm....is this diagram correct? do I just use regular wire like 12 gauge to connect from switch to pin 30?

sorry for all the questions... one more? I have a remote starter that goes into the ADS-AL CA bypass. can I just go from the push button to the 12v constant and ignition?
