hi all, first time posting....

I have been given a large quanity of Single Pole Double Throw relays, from a surplus supplier,  but none of them have any description printed on them.

Is there any way to tell the rating of the relay?? (ie 30amp, 40amp etc) i have opened one up, but that didnt help at all...

thanks in advance.

It's going to be difficult to tell just by looking at the relay. The lowest current rating for any bosche/tyco type realy I have ever seen is 20A. So I would think that it can be used up to 20A relatively safely.

No problem, i will take it that they are 20 amp and stay on the safe side.

Cheers.
