Hi all,

i need a relay  the will hold 12 volts  up to 30 sec + when starting the viehicle.  I know you can just use the ignition wire in the viehicle. What i am trying to do is take a acc. wire and make it like a ignition wire. So when i start the viehicle the  voltage does not drop to 0 volts  and stay around 12 volts + on  thI acc. wire. Then when I shut off the viehicle the wire will rest a ground as it should.

Thanks.

a PAC TR-7 should do that.

Seems a bit of overkill for such a simple function though.
Wouldn't a diode, capacitor, resistor and transistor do it easily enough?

Exactly! I'd use the second version to ground switch the relay-
