I have a 2000 Jaguar S-type that was converted from halogen to HID factory assemblies/ballast/etc. Everything works good, but i would like to introduce a delay of a few seconds prior to the ballast igniting.
I have read posts for the DEI 528T, but can't come to grips with what is being posted in relation to my application. There is a relay for each headlight assembly that takes a negative trigger from the headlight switch and turns it into a 12volt positive. Can anyone illustrate exactly what wire for the 528T goes to what on the relays?

Thank you so very much for your help in advanced!

John, on that diagramme you nicely showed, wish I could do that, surely it's cut blue loop for NEG pulse? Yours, H.

To tell the truth I have never seen one of these timers.

Looks like I made a mistake.

I remade the Diagram from the one page instructions I have.

It was a little confusing it was not the best wording

"Cut =  Trigger Upon Negitive Going Away"

What Idiot would print that?
