Hi all,Im looking for a diagram that will allow me to (if possible) switch between the video signals from 3 cameras into 1 video IN ,i know how to wire a relay to let me switch between 2 cameras,but im totaly lost on how to even work it out with 3.Any help would be great. Cheers Brad

Wire a relay for 2 cameras. Run the output of that relay to 87A of a second relay. Connect 3rd camera to 87 of the second relay. 30 of the second relay is the output that goes to your monitor. You will need 2 switches. with both switches off, 87A of the first relay will be on. Power the first relay and 87 of that relay is on. Power the second relay and 87 of that relay becomes active.

Thanks very much for ur reply,makes sence,,just wondering to do away with one of the switches,would a 3 pole latching relay work for this application,with a momentary switch to select camera 1,2,3?

No relayes, yust add 3 position svitch with double contact!!

Sorry to leave you hanging for 6 months there Brad. but since it got drug out of the grave, there is a way you can do it with only one switch.You need a single pole double throw on-off-on toggle or rocker switch. Apply power to the center terminal of the switch. Connect one terminal to 86 of the first relay. Connect the other terminal to 86 of the second relay. Now connect a diode across the outside terminals of the switch. The banded end connects to the wire that feeds the first relay. When the first relay is powered, it will be the only one that gets power. When the switch is flipped to power the second relay, the diode will then power the first one too.
