I am new here. I am trying to add power windows to my 85 toyota pickup. I got some factory switches out of a 4runner that i want to use. the switch has a common in the center of the rocker and then a leg on either side that is switched accordingly. the motors i got are reverse polarity, can anyone tell me how to wire this up? i am clueless when it comes to relays.

The leads labelled actuators will go to the motor wires! Pin 87 on both relays to a fused proper twelve volt source at say ten amps! The pins labelled alarm lock and alarm unlock output will be connected to the switch the centre pin goes to ground! Pins 86 and 85 on the inside of the relays that are connected to the constant in the diagram can be connected to an ignition feed, so that it only powers on ignition! That setup would be per door!

would this be the same way for a 2008 tocoma for remote windows on stock alarm
Remote windows? Do you mean u want to have them roll via the alarm? Or do u want to convert them to powered from a manual state?
No since you only have 3 terminal switches rather than the correct 5 or 6 with illumination switches you would need the relays to make the motors work. Auto close would go to the close side relay at 86 assuming constant 12V+ in that diagramme. The original Toyota wiring would have included the relays somewhere.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
