I'm trying to setup a plow switch as described in this post...
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~117200~PN~2~TPN~1

Basically I need two relays and a switch. I've found the relays and I am wondering if the diagram as shown is good enough to do the rick for my needs. As far as I can tell all that needs to be changed on the diagram is the blue and purple wires that go to the actuators would now go to the winch.

The relays I found are at https://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=255-2177-ND

Any suggestions for a two way, spring loaded switch at digikey? If I push up I want it to automatically spring back to the off position when I let go. I've done a search, but with thousands to choose from it might take a while to pick one out. :)

Thanks for the great information on this site... I had no idea relays could be used in so many configurations!

Do you have any idea of the current needs of the winch?  Yes the relays in this post, https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~117200~PN~2~TPN~1#571113 are what you need,.  The wires that are labeled to actuator go to the winch.  The switch you are looking for is a SPDT On-Off-On momentary toggle or rocker switch.

I've been digging into the Digi-Key switches a bit. Is the mom-off-mom style the type of switch I am looking for? It sounds right to me but I'd like to make sure first.

Too late to edit my previous message....

Here's the switch I am looking at buying.

I am getting 50A or higher relays. The circuit breaker on the plow is 50A and has never tripped on me.
