I have a T1500 SuperWinch to pull dead cars up onto my car trailer.

Where to buy a set up that would allow a remote control?

Currently it's a 3 position switch spring loaded to stop. To the left is cable IN, the other direction, reverses the polarity and it's cable OUT.

For the remote action. I only really need Cable IN.  What would you do?

Fix the switch to the IN position and fit a hefty relay with a actuation (ie, remote switch - wire or wireless).

Maybe the switch only needs to be be electrically bypassed by the relay if there are no mechanical or other switch functions (clutch etc).

FYI - my 4300kg (9500lb) winch draws 410 Amps at full load - dropping to 260A@6,000lb & 70A unloaded - so a hefty relay is required. But yours may be very different.

Amazingly we suddenly have 2 posts on this subject, luckily the link awdeclipse posted worked. The link posted in the Security and convenience section didn't.
