I have searched the forum for answers and i still seem to be unable to make this relay solution work.  i have a basic understanding of using a relay or 2 but once it goes beyond that I am a bit lost.  I am using the latching relay solution that is posted on this forum https://www.the12volt.com/relays/relaydiagram23.html then I added another relay to convert the (+) output to a negative output.  I wired the relay with the (+) from the latching relay diagram to 85. I grounded 86 and 30 so my output on 87 will be a negative signal, this works perfectly but here is where I am having trouble.  In addition to this circuit I want to trigger a 528T when there is not a negative signal to 87.  I tried to wire the 528T BLACK/ white (trigger wire) to the 87A with the thought that when the negative signal is removed from pin 87 to 87A it would trigger the 528T which will actually trigger another relay with a timed negative signal on the brown wire.  The 528T wires are as follows:   Red (+), Black and Yellow (-), Brown to another relay (-) signal timed,  Orange not used, blue wire uncut.  What is happening is when I trigger the latching relay circuit and the negative signal is applied to the528T the timer does not function. it only applies a (-) signal to the brown wire as long as I press the button that triggers the latching circuit. the 2nd time I press the button there is no signal at all on the brown wire, so it appears the 528T is triggering but the timer isn't being applied.  If I remove the BLACK/ white trigger wire from the relay and only touch it briefly (pulse)  to groundl it works. If it is a negative pulse that is needed to make this 528T function how can I make this circuit work.?  Any assistance is greatly appreciated or if there is a better way to acomplish this I am open to any suggestions.

Sorry for the long post I tried to keep it brief

Thanks

Mike

any chance you could explain what you are actually trying to accomplish with this circuit?

I think the 528 needs a full pulse not a steady power wire. you may need to add a pulse timer to it like this.posted_image

You must Reverse the Circuit for your Application.

When in doubt, try it out !
