constant negative to momentary negative

i understand how to build the circuit:

my question is:
i am trying to create a momentary pulse from the GWA wire on a remote starter. either circuit will do it, however, will it continually draw power for the relay after the relay unlatches?

i guess i don't understand how it unlatches due to the capacitor (and doesn't relatch after the capacitor drains).

I'm looking for the same deal here as well. I need a momentary pulse from constant + (and the same thing using constant neg for a second part of the circuit) but I would like to be able to not have power running to the coil all the time.

I'm guessing the solution may be something to do with mixing normally open and normally closed. Just not sure how to wire it.

More costly but simple and more reliable, use a 528t timer relay, you can set the potentiometer from 1-300 seconds, also no latched relay to worry about.

actually the circuit i have has a 528t in it. so if i have constant neg (GWA wire) on the BLACK/ white trigger, the 528t will only pulse once, and not continuously (until the negative trigger is removed)?

Exactly. It doesn't matter if you feed the 528t with a momentary or constant, it will only output for the length of time you set it. It needs a REPEAT signal to reset it.
