I just bought a 92 dodge van with a wheelchair lift. From somelse I bought power door openers. I can interface the door openers into the lift control but would be inconvient for me. I have a remote momentary switch with a reverse on it. I want to put a relay in between the output and a fuse box. The white output wire will go into the fuse side with a loop so the output of the fuse side 2 power wires from the door openers can be used. This way the remote key has a button to push to open the door with a positive polarity and then push the other button reverses it to close the doors. Reason for doing this is it is too expensive to have someone hook the door and lift together. Having ms I have more time than money and long in the past I did work as an engineer in tv station. I just forgot somethings. With some help in the right direction I know I can do this.
Thanks
Ron

When you say "door openers" are you talking about devices that physically open the door or an actuator that unlocks the door?

Can you describe your "remote momentary" switch with a little more detail? It sounds like it is a keyless device but I'm lost when you mention the reverse.

The power door openers mount to the door so you open and close the door to get the wheelchair out. you stan there with a wired control and hold down a switch until the doors open all the way. Then press again and hold to close them.

The keyless  device is a Logisys RM03M remote switch.

I want to use a remote as then I can open the doors from the driver's seat and when putting the chair in I can open the doors from the outside without wiring a switch into the vans fender which I would need to cut a hole ect. Thanks for any help Ron
