I've completely exhausted all my brain cells attempting to figure this out, can someone else lend a couple of cells to help me. Heres my objective: I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 truck with LED cab lights on the roof, I would like to have the cab lights come on and flash with the hazards but not the turn signals the be on constant with the park lights while still using the factory hazard switch to activate the flashers. The factory hazard switch has 8.3 volts negative when open (off) and 12.38 volts negative when closed (on). Is there going to be any possible way to make this happen, I dont care how complex the system would be as long as I dont have to have another switch to flip to make it work. My goal is to make the cab lights alternate with the hazard lights but thats the least of my concerns right now I can deal with them all coming on at once until I figure out the concept of just making it work then I'll move on to the alternating portion of the goal. If anyone could assist or shed any light on what Im trying to achieve would be appreciated.

Ab SPDT relay with 30 from the hazard flasher (can) and the NC 87a to the cab lights.
The coil 85 & 86 are connected to each side's indicators/flashers (ie, to LH & RH flasher bulbs; maybe in the dash).
Hence the relay normally connects the can lights to the hazard flasher, but if either sides flasher is on (but not both), then the relay opens and disconnects can lights from the flasher.
That's the easy way but may be subject to cab lights turning on being faster than the relay opening. (Try it and see.)
Else an AND circuit - ie, cab lights on when BOTH sides flashing/on.
Other solutions depend on vehicle wiring, but current sensing is probably required.

And if our poster tried that trick in Europe a cop would give him an expensive tug in about 5 minutes or a 44 tonner would give him an even more expensive shove!

And just out of interest the wiring mentioned is all multiplex with reference to 0v, hence the strange voltage readings, also likely to affect the BCM. Don't even go there.

LOL - I avoided the legalities as I'm doing my bit to aid economic recovery (ha ha). But experiencing other road-user reactions is often educational, and fun for third parties.
I also avoided the strange voltages. And negative in a +12V vehicle?
I was curious if the alternating portion of the goal meant the next stage in case it negated whatever solution I suggested, but I decided to KISS whilst still aiding economic recoveries and education.
