hey guys i was wondering how to wire my headlights so that they act like the audi does meaning the headlights are on and you hit your turn signal it drops that headlight for that turn signal so if you have your headlights on and want to make a left turn you turn your left signal on but you left headlight goes out then comes back on when the turn signal is off.

And get yourself a ticket for faulty headlights. Actually you would need 2 relays but I won't advise because of the legality, also you might find it's the LED daytime running lights doing that on an Audi, not the headlights.
Also at night on an unlit road WTH would you want to to kill your lighting that side?

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

I have LED strips in my accord headlights similar to this.  The LED strips are wired to come on with the corner parking light which is also the turn signal.   I want to wire up the LED's to a relay so that they stay on with the parking light but they blink alternating to the corner blinker. So that when the corner is bright the LED's are off and when the corner goes dim the LED's blink back on, but then when the turn signal turns off the LED's is back on constant like the parking light.

connect your headlights LED strips Positive to the parking light positive
Then, Connect your LED strip's negative to their respective blinkers Positive wire.

What happens is, when the blinker isn't on, The LED strip will get its ground through the blinker light - This will give the effect of the LED being a parking light.

Then, when the blinker turns on, its positive wire turns positive(so it can turn on the blinker of course) When this happens, the LED strip will loose its ground turning it off. The cycle will repeat itself while the blinker is on, giving the exact alternating blinking effect you are looking for.

Once the blinker is turned off, the ground returns and you have a steady light again.

Thank you flobee4

That sounds great and I really only need to change the LED ground.

Correct, if you already have them connected to come on with the parking lights, you only need to move the LED ground wire over to the blinkers Positive wire.

Provided the blinkers aren't LEDs. (Or rather, at least one per side is a bulb.)
