Hello all, I have a question that I hope you can help me with.
My neighbor has a small winch attached to the front of his quad which he uses to hoist a snowplow blade up and down. The winch controls send positive through the switches, so they are very prone to arcing out and failing to work.
We want to wire it up with a two way toggle switch and relays to prevent this issue, but are unsure how to do it.
If anyone has any thoughts, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Attached is a picture of how the original switch works, please ignore the crudeness of my artwork.

Look at the diagram in the relay section on this site, the on that shows adding door lock actuators to an alarm. The wires from the alarm going to the relays in your case would simply go back to ground via either two simple push switches or even your existing, disconnected the ground (neg) side and join your power side to ground, then each wire marked "motor" in your diagram feeds a relay.
This is your existing switch circuitry:-

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
I did look at the relay section, I'm just not that good at wiring.
Thanks a lot for the diagram though! :D
