What do you mean, auto unlock perhaps?

Do you mean auto unlock perhaps and please read again the last few words "depending on vehicle application".
Please elaborate and explain why it doesn't work.

connected the relay as per the diagram with the capacitor and resistor but when i connect the power it doesn't activate the relay, unless i connect the wire on pin 86 to ground and not the ignition 12v wire.

Then the terminal at 86 is still seeing pos, you have to make sure it's seeing a neg, check the diode and capacitor (condensor) polarity.

Purple ignition wire goes to ground, when ignition is switched off.
The first diode, make sure the band is towards the ignition conditions it to a definite negative.
This is constant so the cap and resistor bleed it off to 0.8 seconds.
The caps + mark should go to the green relay side.
No more comments for 8 hours please, it's 00:11 am here.
