so im doing this one Constant to Momentary Output (link) and Im unsure of what the symbols off the 85 pin mean i know the black is a ground but Im lost after that, I think that the end is where the resistor is going (the swiggly lines) but not sure what the green line with the half circle and the one with the straight line mean. (this sounds confusing to me hopefully you understand what I mean)

the cap is actually to the pins on the relay also correct?

That is a 1,000 Microfarad capacitor.  Make sure it is rated at at least 16 volts.  25 or 35 would be better.  Most capacitors are polarized devices, make sure you notice the markings on the capacitor and put the negative lead on the ground connection.

Agreed. I'd argue 16V is too low for 12V audio use.
(I've been meaning to check if caps have a "stress" rule as do fuses etc - ie, should generally be at no higher than some percentage (eg 70%) of its rating - but I've always applied that sort of rule of margin.)
