I'm a little out of context on this forum, but got interested in reading the posts and thought I would throw out my problem.

I would like to delay the on activation of a 12v normally off valve by about 1- 2 seconds and the off delay by 2-3 seconds.   I have a bank of seven valves all controlled by one switch and would like to control one of them at the valves pig tail.   Three wire valve. Low amp.

I would appreciate some thoughts.

Forgot to mention it needs to be a weather/water proof system.

Pictures would help.

Model Numbers Something about a 3 wire valve.

Wiring info.

Do you want to make it or buy some off-the-shelf timers to do the job?
