I've found a relay in my garage that I can't identify. A search of the forum produced no results. Can anyone help please? The make is SWF and the type is R 200 995. It has 5 terminals labelled S, 30, 56, 56a and F. The resistance across the S and 30 terminals is slightly less than 8 ohms. Putting 8v across these produces a click that appears to be non-latching.
If suitable, I'd like to use this SWF relay in conjunction with the headlamp flasher unit on my 1972 Lotus Elan. The Lucas 6RA relay fitted when I bought the car is unsuitable for the flasher circuit, having a coil impedance of approx 60 ohms. This SWF relay would seem to have a coil impedance that might work in conjunction with the standard flasher unit as I'm told the correct relay (now unobtainable) originally fitted by Lotus ahd a coil impedance of approx 4.8 ohms.
However, I need to know which of the terminals 56, 56a and S to connect to what before I blow any fuses!
Thanks in anticipation

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
