Hello to all and I believe I've finally found a forum that can help me resolve my controller problem. I have a 4/6 drop on my GMC 1500 PU and the airbags keep the axle from hitting the frame. Using the ON side of the ignition, I have tried wiring 2 pressure switches in series using a relay to turn on the air compressor to inflate the bags to 60# and then turn off. Note: 1 pressure switch is set to 30# (low) and the other is set to 60# (high). The pressure switches are NC and when the pressure drops below the 60# the compressor restarts which makes the compressor overheat. I must need a second relay to by pass the 60# PS so that the pressure will drop to the 30# PS and then turn on the compressor.

Thanks in Advance and hoping for a solution..........

If the 60# is supposed to stop the pump at a max of 60# pump turn off. Then it needs to be wired so that when the pressure switch opens it breaks the pump feed.

Her's how to do it: 12v to 30 relay & 30# PS, 30# PS to 86 relay, 87 to pump & 60# PS, 60# PS to 86 relay, 85 ground.

When 30# ps closes it provides power to coil which energizes the 87(NO) to pump which feeds back to 60# PS then to coil to keep coil energized when 30# opens, and when 60# PS opens, pump shuts off until 30# closes again.
