hi

been lurking here for sometime. my names tony.

I have Jdm CTR power folding mirrors. i have them wired up, and working. the next thing i would like to do is wire up the open to my alarm "unlock, and close when my alarm "lock/arms".

my vehicle specs
1996 honda civic "converted to power interior
-viper 350HV with power door locks
-power door lock relay

DEI 451m pin out "convert neg to pos signal"
-Blue = 12v+
-green =12+
-white = ground
-brown = ground
-purple = fused 12v

power folding relay wire pin out
1-mirror motor A (blu/red)
2-ground (blk)
3-mirror switch (blu/yel)
4-switched power (wht/blu)
5-mirror motor B (grn/yel)

and i have the OEM jdm mirror switch
1-black yellow = goes to power folding relay 3 "mirror switch"
2-not used
3-blue/black = mirror right
4-yellow/black = mirror left
5-yellow/white = mirror right and left merged
6-blue/green = mirror right
7-yellow/red = mirror left
8-not used
9-BLACK / YELLOW = 12v in
10-black = ground

i bought 2 DEI 528t time relays, on ebay and trying to get the wiring finished up. i followed a wiring diagram some one posted but kept blowing the fuses. please some one chime in and help me :D

also i was wondering if i could run the viper 350hv AUX to the jdm mirror switch wiring? let me know thanks!

Mistakes:
Lock relay (what make) AND a 451?
You don't need both only either and if one is a 5 wire actuator you don't need the 451.
Every a/market dedicated lock timer relay uses NEG trigger.
Hence mistake no. 2 definitely NOT converting NEG to POS, simply 5 wire.
You say relay switched power WHITE/ blue..meaning.
And switch ;
1-black yellow = goes to power folding relay 3 "mirror switch"
9-BLACK / YELLOW = 12v in
Think you should check that.
All completely confusing and illogical not auto electrics wiring as we know it Jim.
In fact the 453, the mirror relay unless it controls normal movement rather than fold and the switch aren't needed.
Just tell me the mirror fold motor wires and I'll give you an upgrade to the circuit you used. (Assume it was one of mine).

My power door locks are after market 2 wire actuator. Gun style with green and blue wires. Seems like the relay "DEI 451M" converts the Viper 350hv alarm signal Neg to positive signal.

im sorry dont know who is this jim character.

Jim Kirk as said by Commender Spock, a Star Trek TV series 1 catch phrase.
You said you had a lock relay, is this the 451 or separate?
Are the blue/red and GREEN/ YELLOW the fold/unfold motor wires for both mirrors?

lol, Star Trek. im very slow at the moment. been trying to get this figured out -_- and no sleep.

they "cari audio place installed the alarm Viper 350HV, and from looking at it. The DEI relay is separate. if removed my door lock wont work.

blue/red and GREEN/ YELLOW the fold/unfold are the colors for the mirrors. i done s 12v test and they are reverse polarity.

I wish I could cut and paste your pictures but anyway much less confusing now.
Take the blue and green from the cable from 350 to 451 join to the BLACK/ white on each 528t
Use a 10 amp fused feed to joined red and brown on 528ts, to ground, 451 BROWN / white, WHITE/ black and blacks from 528ts.
Cut the RED / blue and the GREEN/ YELLOW between the mirror fold switch and the mirrors. In other words at 1 and 5 as per that diagram.

Now tell me how you did those pics 'cause I'm a granddad and my IT experts (daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren are all in New Zealand).

i got the diagrams either from honda-, directed.com, and etc tech and searching google. ive done alot of searching for the setup i have. @_@

Thanks again for the diagram! this would close my mirrors when the system arms, and open the mirrors when they unlock? just to clarify it.

as for pictures. when replying. you see the happy face icon at the top of the reply box? right next to it is a picture frame with an up arrow. click that. it lets you upload pictures from your computer and inserts it into the reply message automatically.

Yes and if you want, I'll show you the variant that folds when you turn off the ignition and unfolds when you turn the ignition on again.

Thanks, I've never succeeded, I've been told to resize them. Never mind.
Trouble is with my pics you'd have to reverse them...sorry R/hand drive and my famed weird sense of humour.

the wiring diagram you gave me should work open and close mirror when the alarm arms and disarms correct. i dont have a factor alarm or factory door locks.

also on the second 528T do i leave the blue loop un cut? the first 528t was cut. thanks again

OK, Don't cut the loops. That determines the input polarity on the BLACK/ white 528t wire, uncut = NEG, cut = POS, that would explain fuse blowing since those wires REST AT GROUND.
