I am really frustrated and have done this before but can not rember and also I can not find it here on forum but I know it is simple but the 2 black wires coming from the DEI for starter kill relay is not working because I am doing it wrong. I cut the wire from ignition to starter under dash and tested it is correct wire, I am really confused because I have wired the 2 wires from dei (one is the imput to ignition and other is output to starter)to each side and nothing or when you try to start when armed it starts so I hooked to relay as relay images show and now I have tose 2 wires from alarm and no where to go how do we use a relay to go with the 2 wires on dei alarm or now we have 4 wires from under dash 2 from the starter cut and the other 2 from dei and the relay with 4 wires which we can hook up but how to do with this set up

Hi that is where I started but has no diagram of the dei unit to relay to starter/ignition

I have the 2 wires coming from the alarm unit for starter kill when armed

I cut ignition wire to starter and now have 2 wires from there

I have a relay with 4 wires coming from this now how do we combine to make it work in with alarm setup

What make and model of remote starter are you using, and which harness and wires are you referring to?
And what vehicle year, make , model...

It is DEI from bestbuy and no remote start just alarm with starter kill and 2 remotes the very basic unit.

2006 Kia spectra

the DEI untit has a plug for 2 wires one for input other for output does not matter which one is used for input or output so I have those 2 wires and cut the ignition wire so now one wire to starter and one wire to ignition and a relay and trying to make it all work togther

Sorry internal relay, and you've wired it all wrong.
Yellow wire to ignition (actually it's FROM ignition)
Cut starter, GREEN / WHITE to key side, GREEN/ black to starter side don't use green.

What about the 2 wires from alarm? input and output this is from starter to relay which shows on diagrams but I still have those 2 wires from alarm and that is whats confusing me, I tried the orange to 85 which throws a neg .500 when armed I tested it and then the relay wire in middle to starter then the lower 30 to ignition wire and then the one on far right to ignition 12volt when turn key 12 volts and have the diode in place so what about the 2 wires from alarm where do they go

This is a daft question.
Two thick black wires.
Cut the starter wire join one end to each, job done.
Forget about relays.
Can't you read the instructions, about page 3? Look at the wiring diagram.

Actually they don't. Have you connected the yellow ignition input wire?

Answer the question, did you simply connect via soldering the yellow ignition input and test and verify your ignition wire that stays live on crank.?
What have you used to join the wires?
Solder?
T-Taps?

I have not joined anything yet until I get the wiring correct then I will solder them like all wires should be in a car, I twist them together and test.

You don't need to cut the ignition.
Just RTFM.
I can't carry on with this thread I'll make some insulting comment about people's abilities to read and follow the instructions on what is probably the simplest alarm on the market.

I agree but I have thick skin and own a business so insults are no big deal happens daily but it is a simple alarm for sure and all I asked from start was how do you take the 2 wires from alrm and hook it to the 2 wires cut from starter and hook the relay to make it work pretty simple question I think and still have no answer

First, there's NO RELAY shown in the instructions, it's internal.
Second, my first answer tells how to wire an extra one.

Looks like the starter wire is listed as RED(+). This wire should be tested with a DMM to verify it is a starter wire and cut/connected to the two black wires of the Avital H3 harness, page 17 of the install guide.
