The alarm wiring diagram for the saab 9-3 states

" *3 Use a relay to isolate the switch side of the parking lights to prevent a feedback into the ignition circuit."

I have positive light switch to connect to + or - alarm output.

How do you "isolate" using a relay?.

Right now the parkinghts work however a few bulbs flash within the dash.

I found the answer to my question on another forum site.
Below is the connection for positive parking lead/Negative light flash output. This connection will inhibit feedback into the ignition circuit or other circuits for example, fog lights etc.

85 ground
86 parking light output from alarm
30 12 volt fused 20 amp
87 to your parking light circuit
