I've seen the remote start wiring diagram made from relays but i have a 2006 chevy cobalt ls, thus making the diagram have too much excess being as the cobalt only has one accessory and one ignition and no need for connection to the starter wire is it possible to create a relay remote start.

I doubt that it will work on that vehicle. Older vehicle with no immobilizer yes, your car not going to be easy.

I see the diagram but my vehicle lacks the use of a starter in remote start and a accesory (2) isn't used so what would i do with excess wire

Other than being an interesting project/challenge, why do this.
No remote, no timer, no safety features...

very valid point never thought of that it was going to be an add on for an existing alarm. do you have any idea for an add on to an alarm for remote start that wont cost an arm and a leg and wont just be buy another alarm. Thanks in advance

You'll be wasting your time, see what Smokeman says, also if you cost in your assembly time it's cheaper to buy a unit with the safety features.
If your existing alarm has an aux output there are some earlier DEI products that might work but it all depends on the range of the remotes on your existing alarm.
Google DEI add-on remote starters. I think 561R was one but not sure, been many years!

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
