Looking for an inexpensive timer relay for DIY heated seat controls. Open to suggestions too.
My idea is to just wire the seats without the complex controls. Hook a timed-relay that runs for say 30-60 seconds then they shut off. The reason for timer is I am told if left on they will burn your bum or seat.
The Story
I have an 64 pickup and put in a nice set of buckets. They have all electric controls and because it had memory seats and more wire than my entire truck. I decided to strip the wiring and controls and rewire the switches.
Now it's cold and I want the heated seats to work. 3 wires hanging from each panel so that is the starting point.
