Hey guys,
I have a keyless entry that I am trying to run an actuator directly. The relay's impulse is only 0.5 seconds which works to pull the actuator to lock but not enough to push it and unlock. The device does not have a way to set the time besides that it is 0.5 seconds and then if I cut a loop of wire 4 seconds. There are some resistors in parallel and I wondered if they control the impulse length? I am pretty handy with soldering but have no idea how to calculate the impulse length via the resistors or if that is even a way to modify the length of time

I already ordered a separate relay that has an adjustable close time but wondered if modifying the current board is possible to get the desired impulse length.
Thanks!

Without being able to test the module myself, I cannot tell you which of those to modify, if any, to make it work as you described. The relay you ordered sounds like a good/safe way to go.
