OK, so this is a little unorthodox use of a car sub, amp and capacitor. I've taken my 300w 10" kicker sub and hooked it up to my Bazooka ELA300.1 mono block amp and powered it with a +12V DC PC power supply. I am using it in my home connected to my AV receiver and it's working great. I modified the power supply to switch on and off with a rocker switch which works fine but that requires me to manually turn it on and off when I want to use it.

I have a Logitech harmony ultimate one remote that I would prefer to program to turn the sub on/off but it needs to be done at the power supply level as the power supply has a fairly noisy fan that I don't want running if the sub isn't on. Is anyone aware of an IR controlled power switch that I can replace my rocker switch with? It needs to be able to handle 220v and I can't use IR wall plugs as they are poor quality and won't handle the wattage that the power supply draws.
