Okay, I am installing new rear view mirrors on two Pontiac Azteks and my 1989 GMC. The mirrors are from Chrysler Sebrings. I want the map light to come on with the rest of the interior lamps.
The Aztek and GMC have a positive trigger dome lamp circuit.
The Sebring has a negative trigger dome lamp circuit.
I understand I can use a relay but which relay do I use for this and how would I wire it?

You should not need to convert polarity. You are not using the door trigger system from the other vehicle. Simply find the 2 wires going to the lamp itself and parallel it with the lamps in the vehicle.
