Please move this thread if it is in the wrong section, with my thanks.

First off, if a DEI branded relay is failing, can the failure cause an increased voltage to come out of terminal 30 while the relay is active? Nothing I can think of suggests that, but I may be wrong. Second, I ask as I've wired up a circuit, with a relay, for a switch and some LEDs (which aren't at issue here) and I'm getting a constant 18.88 volts from the wire connected to terminal 30. I've attached the wiring diagram I'm using for reference. Also, the items titled "1 extra lone led" and "Led control box" were taken out of the equation to ensure they weren't causing the increase (which they were not). In essence, I'm stuck and cannot figure out where the 18.88v is coming from. I've toyed around with the mostly inaccurate idea that somehow, the voltage coming from the illumination is too high and some of that voltage is being transferred to terminal 30. It's also negative degrees outside so testing of wires is not really an option at this point. Please feel free to use installer slang, I've still got my MECP cert. Thank you!

It’s coming from the led control box.

Thanks, tonanzith. I played around with it over the last few days and that does seem to be the issue. Company who made the LEDs and control box said that the control box would only fail if there was too much draw that would indicate an LED tube was faulting. Thanks!
