Hello folks,

I recently installed an Evo one remote start unit on my 2016 Tundra. I also installed a dash cam. I have the dash cam wired directly from the battery with a regular on/off switch right now. I am hoping that I could use the negative trunk trigger from the Evo one to also be able to turn the dash cam on/off. What would I need to add to this circuit to be able to do this? Basically push trunk button on fob once for dash cam on and push it again to turn it off.
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the help!! I went with the 4 relay option with the diodes and it is working beautifully on bench testing. Only thing i’m curious about is that if it is normal to have a constant 12v on the green wire coming off pin 30 to the switch?

If you used the diagram that wirewise linked to above, it is. The voltage is coming across the coil of the first or fourth relay depending on the latch. You can add diodes across the coils of the first and fourth relays if you like.
