Seeking this for a custom Automotive application - seeking a 12VDC (10A max) timer NO which cycles NC   (adjustable delay and NC time) when it receives a 12VDC input - preferable IP67

off the shelf somewhere?

You don't state how long a delay you require but this will probably work for you:

I did to checking on the unit prescribed (TR7)- seems straight forward but it is not exactly clear to me. Do you know if this can be programmed with 4second on 3 second off cycle or similar?

I don't understand what you mean when you talk about an off time. Output will be off after the 4 second on time. Are you wanting some kind of repeating 4 on/3 off as long as the trigger is active?

Yes the operation as suggested (a boolean example)

IF Input 12VDC+ energised Then;

Sub output_cycle
Output 12VDC+ energised for 4 seconds,
Output 12VDC+ not energised for 2 seconds
Loop
End sub

Else End

Why not just build this with 555 timer (or many derivatives)?

That would be a last resort - still need to manager 10A draw as well

I take it this unit does not provide for what I need?

IDK how to do it with a TR7.
Add a power MOSFET to the example 555 circuit in the link I provided.
A relay won't last very long if you are cycling it twice every 7 seconds.

with the 555 Pulse Generator Circuit,

what is needed to ensure i can power with a Auto 11-14VDC input?
