This may be a repost, sorry if it is...

I am installing a remote start in a 2014 Kia Soul (base 1.6l) and I am running into an issue that I can't seem to get around.

The remote start is a DS18Start, and the brain requires 13.6v on the ACC wire to remain running after the remote start is triggered. The problem is that the Kia does not reach that voltage until well after the remote start brain cycles (13.6v is achieved 15 seconds - brain times out in 8 seconds). DS18 support has been useless, had me warrantee one brain, asking to warrantee the second they sent me.

I jumped a fused 12v directly to the ACC wire after the remote start had been triggered, and the car remained running while the voltage built up to 13.6, at which point the remote start signaled that the car was running.

The problem is the jump between 12v constant and ACC. The car wouldn't shut off if I left it in this state. I tried to jump from a secondary ACC, but that didn't work.

What I am looking for is a relay setup that triggers constant 12v when the ACC from the remote start is powered up (that part is easy), but gets killed when the brake trigger (+) is applied. Is this possible?

I hoped that I could find a decent time off relay, but alas, I have been unsuccessful. Bueler used to make a 10 second to off relay, but it has been discontinued.

Any help would be appreciated.
