Hey all, I have a problem with the visibility of my forward motorcycle turn signal indicators when my (dual) spot lights are on. The spots are bright enough to obscure the indicators both day and night. I like the use of the spots for added visual conspicuity and changing the placement of the spots or the indicators is problematic. A relay that would turn the spot light on the relevant side off while the indicator is on, such as in modern automobile DRL systems, is what I am looking for.
I have looked at the relay diagrams here but find myself baffled by terminology. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This should help out...https://www.hotrodders.com/threads/turn-signals-and-head-light-function.541605/#post-4784355
Only requires two of each part (diode, capacitor, and relay) since only a single bulb needs to be turned off.
Value of capacitor can be halved as it will be connected to one relay.
