im not sure if this is even possible, but ive been trying to figure it out with no luck...im sure if im going to find an answer, it will be on this site... here's what i wanna do...

i just installed a keyless entry into my grandpa's 1999 F150... it has 5wire reverse polarity (+12v on the constant wire) and the keyless module has no aux outputs... what i am trying to do is make the parking lights and dome light flash when you lock/unlock the car with the remote... (1 flash on lock and 2 on unlock would be even better)... im pretty confidant that i can figure out how to use relays to keep the parking and dome light circuits isolated.. but im stumped on the rest of it...

any suggestions, diagrams, etc would be greatley appreciated...

thanks

yea its possible, anything is posted_image.

Does the keyless module give 2 ground outputs? (one for lock and one for unlock) Or does it reverse the polarity?

simple application - the keyless module must have some sort of low amperage (-) output to drive the relay(s) for the 5 wire setup depending on what brand it is. You can use these (-) outputs for the keyless to drive a relay that will give you the result that you are looking for.

In your truck you need:

PARKING LIGHTS |brown               |+ |light switch
DOME SUPERVISION|BLACK/ lt.blue       |+ |passenger kick panel

you will need a relay for both lock and unlock, but one relay for each is enough to light the parking lights and the dome light.
Your relay applications should be as follows:
30:(+)output to parking light and dome sup wires (diode isolate)
85:(-) input from keyless module
86 & 87: 12 V

that sounds pretty much like what im looking for, except... i dont think the pulse from the lock module is going to be long enough to give a good light flash.. is there any way that i can make the pulse going to the relays longer than the pulse going to the locks?
