Hey....I have my factory horn hooked up to my alarm's siren (along with a relay and a flasher), so when my alarm goes off, the horn beeps as well. I'd also like to add a piezo siren in the interior of my car. Can I just tap into the siren's wire, or do I have to use another relay?

thanks!

Ok, so I took my own advice to do a more complete search, and found this post....so I guess I need a relay.

How much current does the piezo draw? To be safe you can go with the relay but many small piezos dont hardly draw anything.

I'm not sure how much it draws....so I guess I should just use a relay. That's what I was hoping, though, that I could squeeze by without using one.

Oh so many relays posted_image

Does anyone think this could be using too much "juice" from the battery when the car is still off? In other words, the siren, the horn, and the piezo are all sounding....is this too much for the car to handle when it's not running?
