I have a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo.  Instead of removing the stock head unit, I thought about wiring my aftermarket Pioneer head unit in the glove box.  I assume I use an SPDT relay.  Can someone explain how to wire this?  I would greatly appreciate it.

Just curious, why would you need a relay? Just cut the speaker wires and tap the power at the radio.
