my friend just got some JDM prelude lights and it comes with daytime running lights...and the usdm does not have daytime running lights.

well i was thinking of wiring fused 12volts from 12volt+ accessory wire and so the lights DRL would turn on when car is started.

and then he thinking of having them turn off when the headlights come on.

is there a way you could do this with a relay?

85-ground, 86-headlight input(+), 30-acc power, 87A-output to DRL. When you turn the headlights on the daytime running lights will turn off.
