I am TERRIBLE with even remotely complex electronic issues, so I need help. All I want to do is turn on both my amplifier and digital capacitor readout with the same 12 volt wire. How do I do this? Can I use the turn-on lead from my receiver?

you can use the turn on from radio. You only need a relay if you plan on turning on more than 2 or 3 amps, croosovers caps etc. But if you plan on using a relay heres how to do it --- Take pin 87 and apply 12 volts from a battery source.---take pin 30 and use taht a sa remote turn on for multiple components-----now put your remote lead from radio on pin 86------put ground on pin 85..
you should be ok without relay on this one. good luck.

So... I can split the turn-on lead from my radio, and use it for my amp and capacitor? Or, should I run the turn-on lead from my radio to my capacitor, and then from the capacitor to my amplifier? Thanks for the help!

yes run the wire from the radio to the cap and then to the amp it is simple this will work without any problems.

you really need to run a 4 gauge or so wire from the battery directly to the amp
