I am trying to install an alarm with autostart on my bike and got everything working except the autostart feature.  I found out through someone that the ignition is similiar to a GM Vats system in terms of security, there is actually a resistor in the ignition.  I measured the ignition resistor and it gave me a reading of 04.90 k ohms.  Not entirely sure what that means but I purchased a SPDT relay and wanted to know how to wire it.

Basically I know the PINK wire coming from the ignition should be going through the relays always open part so I can still start the bike with the key, but when the remote start triggers off i need the feed to come through the relay and through the resistor then back to the ECU somehow to let the fuel system power up.  I hope i explained it ok and would appreciate any help....i've been lurking on the site for a while on and off and there some truly smart people here ;)  thanks!

I will post up some doc to explain what i am trying to do.  Basically i need to send 4.9k ohm to the ECU when the ignition is started (via remote start) otherwise have the ignition wire (PINK) go through the always on part of the spdt relay.
