Relays will either be in the fusebox under the dash or under the hood. Being that you truck is an 86, there may not be a relay controlling the headlights. It may just the switch that supplies the power, so check that as well.

You may have ground-switched headlights since it's a Nissan. If you do have a relay, I want to say it's under the hood. I don't think the relay would be your problem though, because you're likely to have both lights come on, or neither (I don't think they have dedicated left/right relays). I'd start checking the wiring at the bulbs. How does the harness look, pretty ratty?

i forgot something, one of the headlights don't turn on, on baja and the other one it's okay, and when i put them on the highs both goes on,both in high, and then i desconect one of the "good baja",the i turn them on again without the good baja and the "bad baja" goes on,then i conect back the "good baja" light and both baja are on,then i turn them off from the regular knob swicth and turn them on back again and the "bad baja" it's off and the other one it's on. thank's again for your help ------------- ole

There is a bad contact point in the wiring switch. As I have read your post several times as it is not very clear.
Start by replacing the switch as Auex has indicated as a beginner.
From there, you will want to inspect all the wiring, and any ground points that directly relate to the light assemblies.
Either of the three, will give you intermittent failures.

Yeah, all good possibilities, and it's been my experience that it's your ground.
