I tried wiring it up, just as stated in the link, but I can't get it to work.  Also, where is the ground for the coil to engage?

when ign is off it acts as a ground due to all the internal connections....

if it doesn't work you probably should change the resistor value lower.. 1000uf is ok.. try 2000uf or higher and use like a 1000ohm resisotr... reason is if you use like a 500000 ohm, it'll take like 5 mintues before the cap will drain therefore not going to activate the coil...
