I just had to buy more solinoids for my door poppers. They basically rusted from the weather coming in from the window seal at the top of the door. Anyone have any ideas on how to protect them?

Did they not have rubber seals where the rods came out?

If your talking about the window, the seal at the top of the window isnt very good on eclipses. I was kinda oflost on whether to do something to the door or cover the solinoid in something. ??? but im stumped

I was referring to the actuators, do they not have seals, like this:

If they were meant for door poppers, they should be weather proof.  If not, upgrade to a higher quality actuator, meant for that application.  Does your alarm roll down the windows as well?  If not, this would be a useful feature to add in case the actuators act up again.

It doesnt have the protective case like the ones on the site (Thanks for the site too. They got some good prices) they look like this:
