I currently have a standard starter kill immobiliser connected to my alarm, but anyone with half a brain can bypass it with a paperclip (probably), what else is there that can be connected to an immobiliser? I`ve heard even fuel pumps and fuel injectors aren`t that great because someone can still take off far enough to run out of gas in the middle of an intersection ;)
Failing any ideas, which injector or pump wires do I actually hook into? I`ve never really taken a look at either, is it fairly obvious with a wiring diagram, or is there a special way to do it?
Cheers!

The common area's for interuption of a circuit are the following:
Starter, Ignition, Fuel Pump, Fuel relay, ECU, Coil.
A combination of any of the above will provide a measure of protection for you. You could also interupt the park / neutral safety wires. Some vehicles are tied into the key sense, so this will prevent the vehicle from starting as it thinks the key is not in the cylinder.
If the unit is so equiped with a OEM immobilizer, you may also interupt that as well.
Each method has a pro / con to its use . . . You will have to weight out how far you are willing to go to prevent others from starting your vehicle.
Remember, this does absolutely nothing for you in a case of a tow truck.

the best security you could invest in is a passive immobilizer,or transponder security for short.
but if you just want to add more security then do the fuel pump kill, there is no way for a theif to start and run the car long enough to drive it down the street,it literally stalls out within 5 second and i have done lots of cars for immobilizers.

I used a ground when disarmed output of my alarm module to interups the ignition wire at the fuse panel. This is very hard for a theif to find. It also has to be grounded for the ignition line to work. The fuel pump works fine but the ignition interupt does not even allow the engine to crank over in the first place. You can do this in the steering column but the best place is by the fuse block, it's harder to find.
