Sounds like you need the simplest configuration. Connect 85 to ground, 86 to the parking light flash (+) output on your alarm, connect 30 to fused +12V, and connect 87 to the neons, between the lights and the neon switch.

When the alarm flashes the parking lights it will close the relay during the flash thereby providing +12V to the neons for the duration of the flash.

Toru, will the switch still control the neons on and off??

Yes, the relay AND the switch can both provide +12V to the neons IF the relay output is connected BETWEEN the switch and the neons.

My statement "connect 87 to the neons, between the lights and the neon switch." is misleading. It should read "connect 87 to the neons, between the neons and the neon switch." so as not to confuse the neons with the parking lights.

If the neons are OFF, they will flash with the parking lights.

If the neons are ON, they will NOT flash with the parking lights (they already have +12V, so making a second connection to +12V through the relay will do nothing.)

It's an OR gate essentially:

Switch     Relay     Neons
--------------------------
OFF        OFF       OFF
ON        OFF       ON
OFF        ON        ON
ON        ON        ON

Hmm, unused electronics training from 12 years ago is coming back...

I found that an even better set up is to use your headlight output instead of using the parking light output (still use the relay obviously just different output from the alarm). Most alams have this output and what it does is stays on for approx. 5-10 seconds after you lock and unlock your doors. I just think it gives a better effect then just flashing with the parking lights and you can show off the neons from your remote this way posted_image

Yes mate thats what iam going to do, as i found a pulse that comes off the alarm  and stay on for 15 seconds or less if you turn the ignition on.

Its the output for the coutesy light or the headlight one as you call it  in america  itssupose to light the pathway up as you walk towards it.

        cheers anyway
