I have a postitive light flash wire from my alarm I would like to get my park lights and my head lights to flash alternating and I'm not quite sure how to wire this with relays
Its possible to do but some questions would be...
Negative or Positive headlight system? Negative or Positive Park lights? Are the two high beams isolated from each other (require a seperate output for each lamp)? I would probably look into buying a seperate headlight flasher and wiring the control wire to the output of the alarm. Much easier and cleaner.
It is easy and requires 2 relays.
Relay 1:
85 - +siren output from alarm
86 - ground
30 - constant +12V
87 - +output to relay 2
Relay 2:
85 - +light flash output from alarm
86 - ground
30 - +output from relay 1
87A - either parking lights or headlights
87 - the one not used from pin 87A

I've been sick lately, sorry I won't be on much.
The setup auex shows will only work if you have positive switching headlights and park lights. Some vehicles will be negative in one or the other or both. In most cases even with negative switching headlights you will still have positive switching park lights. Try to determine what you have before hooking anything up.
The same way you would with your parking lights or headlights using two relays.
Relay 1:
85 - +siren output from alarm
86 - ground
30 - constant +12V
87 - +output to relay 2
Relay 2:
85 - +light flash output from alarm
86 - ground
30 - +output from relay 1
87A - either parking lights or headlights
87 - the one not used from pin 87A
